About Us

AmeriTech College was founded in 1979, two blocks west of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In 2005 a new non-main campus was opened to serve the Salt Lake City area.

AmeriTech College focuses on providing technical training to students who want to move rapidly into the work force, and creating career opportunities for people in the medical professions. AmeriTech College Nursing program is pleased to announce our recent Grant of Candidacy through National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
NCLEX-RN 1st time pass rates for all three graduating classes in 2009 is 92%. Congratulations to our graduates for attaining a pass rate higher than the national average!
Dec 10, 2009 - AmeriTech College received a renewed grant of accreditation from The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

Employment
AmeriTech College is currently looking for qualified nursing faculty. Candidate will need to become thoroughly familiar with the program’s existing curriculum, and is responsible for administering it within the classroom, and clinical rotations. This position will report to the Director of Nursing and school administration in the performance of their instructional tasks. The faculty member assists nursing student learning by providing excellence in instruction, helping students fulfill their potential in mastering clinical skills, actively and effectively participating in the affairs of their division, college, profession, and community.

Qualifications:
Masters in Nursing (MSN) is required for this position, 3 years clinical experience, with additional academic and instructional experience preferred.

This candidate must be innovative, possess strong leadership qualities, and must be willing to be challenged. Our learning model is innovative and is designed to enable the improved efficiency and success of all students.

High School Counselors
Formerly known as the American Institute of Medical and Dental Technology, AmeriTech College has been assisting graduates obtain successful careers in the Allied Health Field since 1979. Programs can be completed in as little as 9 months, career placement is available upon graduation, and financial aid is available to those who qualify.

SCHOLARSHIPS

AmeriTech has sent scholarships to each High School in the State of Utah. These scholarships can be applied toward any of the following Allied Health programs:

  • Dental Assisting
  • Medical Assisting
  • Medical Dental Office Management
  • Dental Lab Technician

Student Workshops
AmeriTech College is currently presenting the Life & Learning student workshop to high school seniors. The Life & Learning workshop discusses the impact of higher education on one’s life including income, security, and self fulfillment. Students will learn the “ins” and “outs” of higher education including the differences between universities, colleges, vocational schools, and other post secondary education options.
